1. First Burn Matters
Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface (about 2-3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
2. Trim the Wick
Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch (6mm) to ensure a clean and even burn.
A longer wick can cause excessive soot and uneven burning.
3. Burn Safely
Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
4. Avoid Burning for Too Long
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and wax pooling.
Allow the wax to cool before relighting.
5. Extinguishing the Candle
Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into melted wax and straighten it back to prevent smoke.
Avoid blowing out the flame directly, as it can cause wax splatter.
6. Storing Your Candle
Keep candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain fragrance and quality.
Cover with a lid or wrap in a cloth when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
